Vintage Cookies and Milk Birthday

This birthday party was for my little girl who was turning 6,  so of course I wanted to go all out!  She told me she wanted an oreo cookie party and with a great cookies and milk printable design package and some vintage milk bottles,  it turned out fabulous.

Girls Night In....Bridesmaids style!

The ladies in our neighborhood get together once a month for "cocktail club".  In October I decided to do a movie showing of "Bridesmaids" since it had just been released on DVD.  We also chose to make donations to our local Susan G. Komen office since it was breast cancer awareness month.  Enjoy:

4th of July Dinner Party

Why would I be posting pics from a 4th of July dinner in January?????  So you can have ideas for your upcoming red, white, and blue holiday decor of course!  It has nothing to do with the fact that I just found the pictures on my camera!  Enjoy:

Recently I did the decor for a cupcake themed party for adorable twin girls who were turning 1.  Enjoy the sweet pictures below!

Back to School Bash!

This party was especially fun for me to put together because it gave my daughter, who is a bit on the shy side, a chance to meet the other kids in the neighborhood who will be starting kindergarten with her in a couple of weeks.  It turned out super cute and I think the children had much fun!

My custom made cupcake pedestal!

 

Designer cupcakes are all the rage right now and they are in popular demand at many events these days.  With their small size for individual servings, and ability to be decorated to fit any theme they are a great choice to satisfy your guests sweet tooth.  Thus my decision to have a stand built that can function as a 1, 2 or 3 tier display.  It can be dressed up to coordinate with any event and I cannot wait to display it soon at an event near you!

A Musical 2nd Birthday!

An adorable little boy who loves music, guitars, and drums was turning 2, and we planned a very cute musical themed birthday party for him.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

I was contacted recently about providing the decor and a candy buffet at an open house for a few independent vendors.  Their theme was "Diva Dayz" and the color scheme was hot pink, black and white.  Here are some pictures from the event.

Towels for Ice Cream!

My husband and I volunteer weekly at a local charity called Granny's House (www.grannyshouse.org).  Every summer they take 35-40 inner city kids to KAA camp (http://www.kidsacrossamerica.org/#) and they ask local groups to donate certain camp supplies.  For months leading up to camp the kids of Granny's House work for points which they then spend in the camp store that they set up with the donated items.  This year I was asked to get a group to donate bath towels.....80 to be exact.  I decided to put together a ice cream social at my house and ask neighbors and friends to come out, donate towels, and get some ice cream.  My wonderful neighbors and friends showed up in full force and we raised our goal of 80 towels, plus!  I am still fielding emails from neighbors who want to know if it is too late to drop off towels.......needless to say I live in a great community!  Here are some pictures:
